The HanksHelper Options tab allows you to customize how HanksHelper operates.
By default, when you run a search, the results from each site being searched (ebay, autotrader, etc.) are brought up in tabs inside the HanksHelper window. You can then open any site in a new window by clicking the
button on the tab for that site.
If you would prefer to open all the sites in new windows automatically, just choose the Open in New Browser Windows/Tabs option under the Hank's Options tab (ie where you were before you came here).
How do you choose between browser windows and browser tabs? For that you have to go into your browser settings, since that's what decides how pop-ups are opened.
Most modern browsers are set up to block pop-ups automatically. Usually that's good, but not when you want pop-ups, like if you've set HanksHelper to open your results in new browser windows!
You may notice when you do a search with that mode chosen that not all of the sites show up. If you click back to the HanksHelper window, you'll see a notice from your browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox probably) saying that it has blocked pop-ups. Simply click this notice bar and choose the option to allow pop-ups from HanksHelper.com.
Personally I would suggest opening results in new browser tabs, but that's just me.
Aaand that about covers it. If you still have questions, you can also try the general help and frequently asked questions pages.
And if that doesn't do it, fire me an email and I'll see what I can do!
